Heavy rainfall in Henan recently caused severe threats to local lives and property, necessitating urgent reconstruction. Emdoor Group responded by extending condolences to its nearly 60 Henan-based employees and specifically targeted Minan Village, the hometown of one of its most affected employees, for assistance.

On July 28, Emdoor’s rescue team departed for Minan Village with nearly 5 tons of food and essential daily necessities. The journey was arduous, involving multiple detours due to road flooding and landslides. After 34 hours, the team finally reached Minan Village, Mihe Town, Gongyi City, Henan Province, at 8:30 on July 30. Without delay, they immediately distributed supplies to 190 local disaster-stricken families.

The secretary of the Minan Village Committee and a representative of the seventh team leader expressed their sincere gratitude for Emdoor Group’s charitable efforts.
Mihe Town, situated at the confluence of two rivers, was among the worst-hit areas in Gongyi City, Henan Province. Of its 23 bridges, 19 major ones collapsed, and numerous roads sustained severe damage. While post-disaster reconstruction is ongoing, essential infrastructure like water, electricity, roads, and communications has been progressively restored, and villagers are diligently working to rebuild their lives.

An old Chinese saying states, ‘when disaster struck, help came from all sides.’ Emdoor Group extends its prayers for Henan.
